Course Correction

In my first blog post of 2026, titled “Letting Go & Moving Forward” , I talked about changing the course of my photography which was more of a 180 degree change or at least a 90 degree turn pivoting from color imagery to solely black and white. Well, turns out that was not a good plan for me after all! I just could not completely give up on my color images.

So, I am changing course, gradually by a few degrees. That will still lead to a different place than if I continue to do things the same way. Any navigator will tell you that a few degree change in course will take you to a new distination. And that is what I am doing without knowing what that place will be, just that it will be different than “all color images”. I am going to let it evolve rather than force such a drastic change.

I did curate my images in each series and some have been privately archived and no longer appear on my website. I have edited the names of some of the series as well as some of the titles of the images too.

Change, not always so easy but, for me at least, doable in small degrees!
