Change, not always so easy but, for me at least, doable in small degrees!

Photography has always about capturing time for me.  Making it stand still in an image so I could hold onto that moment forever. 

I will be updating my website this year, which includes archiving many images. I am retiring a look I’ve relied on for years—one that emphasized color. Going forward, most new work will be Black and White or sepia.

I have used my camera as a time capsule where I chronicle the moments and stories of my life, returning to look at time that has passed by. Now I find myself focused more on the present as I press the shutter button. I look for the story before me and know when it is revealed in a subtle yet clear moment.
