Capturing Moments, Creating Stories

WHAT I DO

A small airplane with the text 'Safarilink' and registration number '5Y-SLI' parked on a dirt airstrip, with a person holding a camera and phone walking in the foreground, surrounded by an open, hilly landscape under a cloudy sky.

EXPLORE

Here I am arriving in the Kenyan wild after a flight in a bush plane from Nairobi. Wherever I go, my camera is always with me.

The adventure begins before I leave, as I anticipate and plan. I love the anticipation of an upcoming trip. It’s all part of the exploring experience.

When I arrive there are always surprises that I did not anticipate and that is part of the wonder of exploring for me.

SHOOT

When I look trough my lens I see more, a different perspective. And that helps to tell a fuller story of what I experience. It is exciting to see what is revealed in the images I shoot.

PROCESS & PRINT

Returning home, I get to relive the adventure as I go through my images and process them in Photoshop.

I embrace both the purity of the untouched image and the creative possibilities that digital manipulation affords. So, some of my images are photorealistic and untouched. Some are creatively recomposed within Photoshop with filters, layers and brushes that I choose to give a more painterly feel.

The image on the wall above is from a trip to Cambodia.

Four photographic prints laid out on a white surface. One depicts giraffes in a savannah, another shows a Parisian bakery, the third features a tree-lined path, and the fourth is a narrow alleyway with blue tones.

To protect the integrity of your print each image will not be duplicated beyond the amount noted on your print and on the Certificate of Authenticity.

What is a “Certificate of Authenticity”?

The Certificate of Authenticity ensures that your print is an original and should be stored somewhere safe, preferably separate from the artwork. It has Nancy Chadwick’s digital signature and the number of your Limited Edition print.
