Okavango Delta, Botswana
This Wild Dog was part of a very large pack in the Okavango Delta in Botswana.
We spent the morning following the pack as they hunted impala. They would bring home their kill to feed the puppies and the mothers and then would feed themselves. This Wild Dog was relaxing after eating when he caught my eye. In the grass on his right is an impala hoof, just barely visible in the tall grass.
