Behind the Series
After spending a week in Paris for our 50th wedding anniversary, my husband and I flew to Venice to spend another week celebrating and walking the labyrinth of cobbled streets.
We had spent a few days in Venice as college students on $5/day but this was a very different experience!
Creating Magic
I processed the images in this series from photorealistic image in my camera to a more “painterly’ effect.
The above image, “Along the Canal”, is an example.
Inspiration
Gondola ride on our last evening in Venice.
I took several photographs from the gondola.
