FINE ART PHOTOGRAPHY

A woman with short gray hair, sunglasses, and a camera around her neck, sitting on dry, cracked desert soil with two giraffes in the distance under a cloudy sky.

Welcome

I’m Nancy Chadwick, a fine art photographer based in Northern California.

Before devoting myself fully to photography, I spent more than four decades as a psychotherapist in private practice, developing a deep sensitivity to the layers of meaning that shape how we perceive the world. Whether capturing landscape, wildlife, or fleeting moments, I seek to reveal not only what is seen, but what is felt.

Photography is a tool I use to observe and preserve what feels meaningful, wherever I am.

I hope you find an image here that quietly speaks to you.

A person with short gray hair, sunglasses, and a white shirt stands on a dirt airstrip, holding a smartphone and a camera. Behind them is a white airplane with the words 'Safarilink' on its side, parked on the ground, with a landscape of fields, trees, and hills in the background under cloudy skies.
